On Saturday, March 8, former San Benito High School standout Matthew Pena’s current college team, the Cal State Northridge Matadors, lost 11-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.

The game took place at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Gauchos this season.

The Matadors’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1:05 p.m. at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium against UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.
