On Friday, Feb. 28, former San Benito High School standout Matthew Pena’s current college team, the Cal State Northridge Matadors, lost 9-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oklahoma Sooners.
The game took place at L. Dale Mitchell Park. This was their first matchup against the Sooners this season.
The Matadors’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park against Oklahoma Sooners.
