On Saturday, March 8, former Gilroy High School standout Lauryn Yslava’s current college team, the SIU Edwardsville Cougars, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Morehead State Eagles.

The game took place at University Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at University Field against Morehead State Eagles.
