On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Ann Sobrato High School standout Tyler Pina’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Point Loma Sea Lions.
The game took place at Carroll B. Land Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Sea Lions this season.
The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. at Jim Darden Field against Fort Hays State Tigers.
